Everything you need to know about Dawn Taylor Law is right here. Ms. Taylor served the people of the county of Gwinnett for 14 years as a prosecutor and has been in private practice since 2009. She has been a Gwinnett County resident since late 1995 and is an active member of her community.

Today, Ms. Taylor represents various clients throughout the State of Georgia. She has represented criminal defendants in misdemeanors and felonies and a variety of civil litigants in family law cases. Ms. Taylor knows the court system well and understands the community. Mrs. Taylor’s legal experience is these areas of the law is comprehensive and extensive. Ms. Taylor is a trained and registered mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. Her family law and litigation experiences make her a highly effective mediator.

Ms. Taylor has a diverse background that allows her to be the most zealous advocate that you can find. After graduating Cum Laude from the University of Georgia in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science and completing the premedical course of study, she worked in a laboratory as a research assistant studying genetic obesity.

Ms. Taylor graduated from Georgia State University College of Law in 1994 and began her legal career. She worked for one year as a Staff Attorney in the chambers of State Court Judge Robert Mock. Her work in prosecution began in 1995 in the office of the Solicitor General of Gwinnett County. For a year, Ms. Taylor tried over a hundred cases involving persons accused of driving under the influence, thefts, domestic violence, and speeding.

After leaving the Solicitor’s office in January of 1997, Ms. Taylor worked in the Office of the Gwinnett District Attorney until 2009. While in the D.A’s office, she worked in the Superior, Juvenile, and Magistrate Courts on all types of criminal cases. In 2009, Ms. Taylor started her private practice and has since represented clients in family law and criminal cases.

In addition to her mediation and legal practice, Ms. Taylor has served on the Board of Directors for a large electric cooperative since 2015 and has given years of service to various non-profit organizations in her community. Ms. Taylor and her husband of thirty-two years enjoy spending time with family and friends. They raised two amazing daughters who are starting their own careers.

Ms. Taylor began her advocate family practice, bringing all her trial skills to bear. In private custody matters, Ms. Taylor also serves as a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem and is a Mediator.
